About Sheila

I worked in Chicago at Rush University Medical Center from 1989 until 2016, with 17 of those years dedicated to the operating rooms. I have admirable experience in providing companion care for home care or in a hospital environment. I have a sound knowledge of managing clients with Cancer, Dementia, Parkinson, Alzheimer's and (CBD) Corticobasal Degeneration Brain Disease. I have the ability to manage various emergency situations, work without any supervision, respond to family member queries, and to provide dressing assistance, light housekeeping, light meal preparation, medication management, bathing, walking assistance and personal care. I am available upon request to aide in adjusting a work schedule, maintaining records of work hours and all client assignments or instructions left by personal nursing staff. I monitor clients' appointments and accompany clients to and from these appointments when needed. I provide support to clients and assist to maximize their independence.
