About Shauna

My name is Shauna. I have worked in assisted living specializing in memory care, home health, and a long term care hospital (Kindred) as well as taken CNA courses. My mother just retired from the field of special needs, so I grew up with an understanding, and awareness of different types of special needs. I believe everyone is different, and requires unique, individual care. What I do best is learning that persons individual needs, and hone in on it. Whether it is joining their reality of it being 1950, or knowing how they like their coffee. Both my grandfathers suffered from dementia, thus making it a personal passion, to bring meaning, compassion, and dignity into the care I offer. I am also a mother of 4 beautiful amazing children. Ages13 yo daughter, 8 yo son, 5 yo daughter, and almost 2 yo son. I have been a stay at home mom for 5 years. I can honestly say, that's been the hardest job I've ever had! Ready to get back to work!
