Hi! I recently graduated from Nazareth College with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and minoring in Gerontology. I'm looking to get more experience working with the older adult community before pursuing more higher education. I have taken courses at Nazareth related to the older adult population and the struggles they face in our society. The most impactful work I've done with older adults was taking a course at St. Johns Meadows, where other Nazareth students and I worked with senior residents at St Johns to complete a community-oriented project and learn more about our city of Rochester! I still stay in touch with a couple of residents I met through that course, and I find working with older adults to be very rewarding!

Shannon was wonderful! She worked with a struggling senior in our family. She was kind, caring, responsible and always on time. Her positive attitude and genuine thoughtfulness always resulted in a great day! She was a special caregiver and I would highly recommend her!
