About Shanna

I have 8 years experience taking care of some amazing people that I'm grateful for getting to know and help, up until their passing. I started after my dad passed, caring for a wonderful man, quadriplegic for 6 years. I helped for 4 months with cancer patient with dementia and colostomy bag. I do wish that I had more time with her but I came into the picture towards the end unfortunately. I just recently had the fun of helping care for an old man with multiple ailments (progressing dementia, fall issues, open wound with wound vac, and eventually cancer that he could not beat). Almost 2 years. I still keep in touch with the families I've helped and am so grateful for the time I've got to spend with them. It's a blessing to be mistaken for a daughter of my patient, or a sister of their own children.
