I provide assistance with ADL's (including dressing, bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance), transportation to and from doctor's appointments, errands, light housekeeping, laundry, companion care, and I am comfortable handling medicine. I also have experience with dementia/Alzheimer's, and special needs. I am passionate about providing excellent care to families that are in need of assistance with their loved ones. Sarah worked for us taking care of my mom who has had several strokes and vascular dementia complicated by alzheimers with agitation. We had a few hiccups her first week with scheduling miscommunication, and car trouble however after her first week she was great, zero issues. Sarah was extremely flexible with her schedule, even coming early and staying a little late when asked. Mom doesn't like a lot of people yet she would allow Sarah to bathe and dress her, she even let Sarah comb her hair which was a miracle. Sarah was very gentle when having to physically handle mom and gently encouraged her to do things when she didn't want to. She prepared some of mom's meals and helped with laundry when mom was resting. Mom isn't in to a lot of activities these days but Sarah got her to color and even watch her trivia game shows again. We had to stop using Sarah cause mom had another stroke and landed in the hospital and rehab but I would definitely hire her again.
