About Sandy

I have been working as a caregiver for over 22 years. I have worked both as a Home Health Aid as well as a Nursing Assistant. One of the reasons I enjoy working with seniors is because I believe that it is the most rewarding work field. It makes me feel good to be a caregiver. I believe that you have to have a certain amount of patience, understanding and accountability. These skills sometimes come with the length of time a caregiver has been in the field, I can say that I have these skills and more. While working in the nursing field I went back to school and achieved a Bachelor Degree in Human Services (Social Work). I enjoy working with people and I can say that I do my best to understand the people that I work with, especially my clients. I can also say that I am a patient person. I make it a priority to set a calm environment for the patients, the families of the patients that I serve and my coworkers. Making my clients happy and comfortable are some of the things that I aim for.
