About Ruth

Ruth was known to me and my family already from her work for us and friends of ours as a nanny. But we also knew she had done elder care in more recent years. We reached out to her to provide overnight care for my grandmother, who is now 90 and has some dementia, and is just an extremely difficult person, very demanding, and also suffers from type one diabetes and was having to use a walker. Although Ruth is getting older herself, she is still full of energy, and had no trouble staying awake half the night and dealing with our grandmother’s behaviors. Ruth became a favorite caregiver. At this point, my grandmother needs skilled nursing care, so we are sadly no longer able to use Ruth’s services.
