Hello, I am new to The Villages (Summer 2022). I have been providing child care since 2016 but believe I am ready for a change. I have come to be very fond of my elderly neighbors and count it a privilege to spend time with them.. my background is primarily in management and the fitness industry. I volunteered regularly at a nursing home in VA and found it to be quite a rewarding experience. I am CPR/AED and First Aid certified. I have been a Certified Personal Trainer off and on for over 30 years. I have experience as a personal trainer, creating exercise routines for the elderly. I hold a certification in psychology of the elderly. I formerly held exercise classes for the members of my church which included many elderly members.
