I have experience providing hands on care for seniors, including some individuals who had dementia. I also have experience providing care coordination and case management for seniors as a delegate of Medical and employee of Morrison County. From September of 2019 through September of 2020 I provided care for a gentleman who had Lewy Body Dementia. Job duties included: *Assistance with dressing, walking, toileting, showering and other activities of daily living. * Providing emotional support (especially when he experienced distressing hallucinations), fixing meals, providing companionship, light housekeeping and some laundry. * Generally making him as comfortable as possible. This gentleman's wife wrote a letter of recommendation for me, and it is available upon request. I have also cared for individuals with other types of cognitive impairments, mental health diagnoses, and physical issues. Some of these individuals have been family members, and others were clients.
