Rene worked as a personal assistant and companion as she did not renew her CNA license since moving to Florida. She worked one weekend a month for us and we helped her get a business license . She validated she would help the upcoming weekend, but the day before, cancelled. While here, she was pleasant, helpful with our pets, soaked our orchids, and a companion. She is bright, but quit after getting a job raise with her Monday - Friday job, confessing after being asked if she intended to help us anymore. Then she told me she had a raise and no longer needed our job for extra cash. We were sad to lose her. Now we’re doing a last minute search for urgent needs, since my husband is having ankle surgery today, and I’m disabled. We will not be able to use again as we need someone reliable as she does have two young children who do need her attention. It was a bittersweet ending to the job.
