About Rachel

Hi, my name is Rachel and I am interested in becoming a full-time caregiver! My previous experience started back in '13 when I was a personal assistant to the owner of Rylee's Ring 'N' Things. She has recently moved to and needed an extra hand organizing her belongings as well as someone to assist her with her mother, who she was moving into a nursing home nearby. Her mother had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia but after spending the first hour with her-she quickly trusted me to handle her belongings and I enjoyed passing the time chatting with her and laughing over the nickname "Goliath" she had named my mover boyfriend. After we had fixed her room to her liking, hugs were given with promises to come back and see her! Though I had not had professional experience with the elderly mother, she recently mentioned to me why not become a personal caretaker? And then it dawned upon me, what am I waiting for? I had been searching all this time for my dream job - and behold it was right in front of me! Experience that has prepared me for this job includes care taking with children at Fletcher Memorial, KWBC, and Highpoint.
