About Rachel

I come from a large family and have hands on experience caring for people at varying stages of physical and mental health. At the age of 16, I began caring for my grandparents who had mobility and cognitive issues due to strokes and dementia. I cared for my mother who was a cancer patient. I cared for an elderly couple for 2 years, providing services of cleaning, cooking, errands, and personal care assistance when needed. I've spent the last 20 years as a property manager and accountant. When my accounting job was recently outsourced, I decided to follow my heart and make a change to something that makes a positive impact. I love taking care of others and making their lives easier. I am very sensitive to the needs of others and I have a great amount of patience. I enjoy conversations that lift the spirits and have a sincere desire to help others.
