About Patricia

I spent 10 years assisting my mother during early, mid and late Alzheimer's, plus her macular degeneration leading to total blindness. Wonderful cook, conversationalist, well read and traveled, great with pet care, laundry, very light housekeeping. Spent lots of time reading daily newspaper and historical novels, taking slow walks and wheelchair cruises, making her morning coffee, breakfast, light lunch and early dinner. Reminded about medicine regimen when she could still see then gave meds, when her blindness didn't allow. Paid her bills, retrieved mail and packages, made bank deposits and reviewed Medicare/2nd insurance and pharmacy bills. Picked up meds and groceries. Fed cat, took to groomer. Returned phone messages, called family members if she wanted to chat. Made appointments with MD, lab, PT and Medicare Social Services. I am also currently assisting my son, he & wife live in Tigard, in struggle with Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma. I was Medical Assistant, graduated Bryman School
