My name is Pam and I have been caregiving for over 26 years. I raised 3 beautiful children, 2 of which were chronically ill - they are all grown now, but I haven't stopped caring for people. I've been a home health care aid for over 7 years now. I am a reliable, patient, gentle, and very trustworthy person and I will eagerly help with anything that needs to be done. I am self-motivated. I have a BS degree in Biology from Cal Poly State University. I grew up in Pleasanton, raised my kids in Danville and live in Orinda. I can't express how much I enjoy working with the elderly and disabled. Everyday is a new day filled with wonderful adventures and that's what I love about what I do. I am a Certified Nurse Assistant, I have my own car, I assist with ADL's, meal prep, light housekeeping, dementia care, doctor appts., errands, and shopping. Pam is a professional and compassionate caregiver. She is patient, kind and attentive. She always arrived early and was willing to stay at the end of the day if need be. We felt confident that our mother was in the best care and Pam would always have her best interest at heart. We have a big family with many comings and goings. Pam was always friendly and welcoming to all. She was a perfect fit for all of us. Wherever Pam lands in her next assignment the family will find they have an honest, trustworthy and compassionate caregiver on board. They will be lucky!
