My husband had an un-diagnosed TBI when I married him in 1986. As time went on it became very apparent something was very wrong and finally, he was diagnosed properly in 2001. Life was very challenging with three young boys at that time, but God saw us through all the ups and downs, though much was learned along the way. My husband continued to decline and was moved into full-time foster care due to the level of care needs however passed in 2019. After owning and selling a business in downtown Canby for 16 years, I was offered a job from the same foster care providers my husband was with but at a different facility call in Portland on Barbour Blvd. I love to cook fresh homemade meals from scratch along with shopping for fresh foods. I believe nutrition is key to longevity and health. I became the Food Service Manager there for the two building and we provided three fresh meals a day for the residents.
