About Nisha

I started caring for seniors when my grandfather moved to the United States from India. My grandfather has hypertension, type II diabetes, high cholesterol and osteoarthritis. He had total knee replacement surgery this year and I became his caregiver as he could not walk without assistance. I took care of his everyday activities: cooking, cleaning, bathing, and helping him to the washroom. My previous work and personal life experiences have taught me skills required for being a good caregiving. I have worked as a TA teaching Anatomy. I patiently explaining new concepts and created a trustworthy relationship between myself and the students to share any concerns/questions. As a Research Specialist, I became good at multi-tasking while meticulously following long procedures. I worked at a medical center as a Phlebotomist during the pandemic where I drew labs and assisted with bedside care. With these skills, I hope to provide the best care and assistance for my client's health.
