Being raised by my grandmother has put the most compassion in my heart for the elderly. She cared for me throughout my life and I was blessed to be able to care for her as she aged. I do not have professional experience, but I did care for a neighbor for 3 years till she passed at 93. My duties for her included cooking, cleaning, some grooming, errand running, and doctors visits. My favorite part about caring for her was the companionship. We'd have hour long conversations that were filled with wisdom that I will forever cherish.
