Greetings, I am a CCAR, CASAC, CPP, CPS Certified Recovery and Life Skills Coach. As a result of an accumulated 18 + years in the mental health industry I am a skilled motivational group leader, unit counselor and caregiver, in clinical, residential treatment, and private duty home settings. I have worked via agency in many well-known hospitals and psychiatric facilities such as T. I. R. R. (The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research), Health South, Champions Christian Academy, the Sharma Foundation (Forest Springs Hospital) and Riveredge Hospital. I am knowledgeable in holistic approaches to mental and spiritual healing and I am a graduate of the Landmark Forum and a participant in the production program. Many of my skill sets are derived from a wide range of working experiences that include marketing and management skills learned while I worked at Chicago Economic Development Corp as an assistant to the Director of Education and Training, as an Administrative Assistant for Aid. Ed Smith at C. A. M Center for Human Development. For many years I had been a homeschooling, single mother of my special needs child the sole adult caregiver for my terminally ill father (cancer).
