About Nanci

My experience: 1. Caregiver for my mother-in-law who became afflicted with dementia. I assisted with her personal care such as bathing, dressing, washing and styling her hair, etc. I also assisted in preparing her meals, feeding when needed, and engaging her in simple activities such as reading to her, working puzzles, coloring, etc. 2. Caregiver to an elderly man for whom I assisted with medication, tidy his home and run errands. We also went on "outings" such as shopping, movies, walks in a park, doctor visits, etc. 3. Engaging a 90-year-old lady in musical/coloring/reading activities. 4. Caregiver for 2 years to an 89-year-old wheelchair-bound lady in Henderson, NV. My duties included sponge baths, dressing, preparing breakfast and snacks, light exercises, outside sitting/conversations, and then assisting her to bed for a nap. 5. Recently I provided temporary companionship to a 90-year-old lady in Murphysboro.
