How may I help your mother live life to its fullest? I am a highly qualified, reliable, caregiver who has been passionately serving seniors for over 25 years. As a seasoned in-home elder care provider, my goal is to create a healthy, happy, safe home that is brimming with love, encouragement, attention, organization and life. Assisting seniors, helping them live as independently as possible, for as long as possible, within the comfort and familiarity of their home, is my heart's desire. A registered Qualified Medications Provider, I completed the NC CNA training, did my clinical rotations at a Specialty Hospital, am CPR/First Aid Certified, have had a recent TB Test and flu shot and have a great deal of experience working with Hospice. Live-in, hands-on experience includes, but is not limited to: multiple kinds of cancers, diabetes, dementia and Alzheimer's, COPD/breathing and lung-related, stroke/ TIA's, bowel & bladder issues (IBS, toileting, catheters, incontinence, impactions, UTI's), macular degeneration, mobility and balancing issues, sight & hearing impaired, blood pressure, heart conditions, surgeries and convalescence, and clients who are 24/7 oxygen dependent and totally bed-bound. Lovingly and compassionately, I provide companionship, home health care, medication management, and full personal/hygiene-related care, as well as total personal assistant and home helper services; tasty meal preparation, light housekeeping, home organization, laundry, grocery shopping, errands, toileting, exercises, mobility assistance, maintaining daily logs, accompanying to appointments and meetings, scheduling calendars, transportation, interacting with medical staff, taking care of pets, etc. In short, anything and everything it takes to ensure peace of mind and a healthy, active environment for my client and her family. Availability: Days, nights, weekends, emergencies and holidays. (Prefer full-time or live-in, long- term assignments and am available to travel out-of-state). Rates: Rates are dependent upon your unique needs and level of care required. Discounted rates for 24-hour, overnight, and live-in care (8-hour minimum, please). I have sterling, verifiable references, an excellent driving record, a reliable Subaru, USAA Insurance, am energetic and in excellent health.
