I have been working in home health for about 6 years and I absolutely love what I do. I completed the Nurses Aide Program at Eastern Gateway Community College. I am Red Cross CPR certified and have a clean background. I am reliable, trustworthy, compassionate, patient and love putting a smile on my patients faces. I enjoy working on puzzles and reading with my patients. I can do anything from personal care to checking vitals, laundry, light housekeeping, running errands, medication management or just an ear to listen or someone to talk to. Melissa helped to care for my mother who was in her 90's for a year. She is a wonderful, patient, dependable caregiver. During this time, there were periods where my mother needed less assistance, and periods where she needed a great deal of assistance. Melissa was able to adapt as needed, and she often volunteered to pick up extra hours when we had last minute gaps in the schedule. My mother and I were both blessed to have had her as part of our little team.
