Hi! I'm Mindy. Melinda is my legal name that I had to use to register with care. com. I started caring for seniors when I was asked to help a dear lady with house cleaning. House cleaning turned into much more: companion, bath aide, grooming, dressing, shopping, meal prep, sorting medication, laundry, Dr. appointments, beauty appointments, etc. That sweet lil lady forever changed me. She & God opened a door and revealed a plan for my life that I didn't anticipate. I do prefer long term care & long shifts, however, I am also a certified death doula: working with hospice and the family to ensure a peaceful passing. I have experience with dementia, Alzheimers and quadriplegics. That being said, it's important to me to be trained to care specifically for your loved one's needs. * attentive to their needs/wants * their comfort & happiness is very important to me * helping to maintain a great quality of life & their dignity while keeping them safe & clean is vital.
