About Melanie

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, caring, and loving. I like caring for seniors because I have realized how overlooked they are in our society. We need people to take care of our elders and treat them as equally as everybody else. I have always had a passion for helping others and with the experience that I have, I have grown even more empathetic towards seniors and providing them quality care. I started caring for seniors after I turned 18. I always had a passion for nursing and just graduated with an Associates in Allied Health and am currently applying to nursing programs. Initially, I began working as a caregiver/ medication technician to gain experience and make relationships with superiors for references in the future. I never realized how much I would love this job. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym, spend time with friends and family, and read! I have about 2 years experience working at an Assisted Living and Memory Care facility.
