Matilda is a true professional. She is serious about her work and understands that care-giving is a lifesaving career. Matilda is punctual and dependable. Matilda worked for me for a year and a half, caring for my mother in late stages Alzheimer's. Matilda was patience, kind and never raised her voice with my mother. My mother's countenance would light up when Matilda walked into our home. As my mother lost her ability to speak, Matilda would continue visiting and joking with mom for hours. This gave mom confidence and continued her social interaction which was so important for mom's mental health. Mom had no idea that her speech was inaudible. As mom was losing her ability to swallow, Matilda was always calm and patience helping mom to slowly eat and helped me find new and healthy foods for her to eat. I am confident in Matilda. If I had to go out-of-state for a week or more, I would leave Matilda in charge of my home and my mother knowing and trusting her decisions and judgement. I always came home to a peaceful, organized and a tidy environment. You will not find a more knowledgeable, professional and caring caregiver. If you need a Senior Caregiver, you've found her!
