Mary has very unique Caregiver qualifications. When we met her, she was just coming off of caring for another ALS patient. We hired Mary to care for my buddy D, who battled ALS for over 2 years. Mary worked over 50 hours per week supporting D & often modified her schedule to fit our needs. She is a smart, fun to be around, and is fully capable of caring for folks with significant disabilities (can't walk, can't talk, can't eat, etc) She can do all of the medically related tasks like feeding tubes, colostomy bags, hoyer lifts, etc. But her best quality is her compassion - she would frequently rub my pal D's neck due to the slumping of his head from ALS. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met. We will miss Her. On a scale of 1-10, I give Mary an 11 rating.
