About Mary Kathryn

Looking for a caregiver that is detail oriented, empathetic, patient, and dependable? Here I am! I have cumulative 1. 5 years of experience working in a skilled and long term care nursing facility (and 6 months of in home care). I have learned a lot in that time, and as much as I love working in a facility, my skills are stretched across lots of people. I would like to get to know the person I'm providing care for and their families more than I'd be able to in a nursing home environment. This means providing care that is specific and maximizing their quality of life with 1 on 1 nursing and companionship. I am a young and inexperienced in life, so when caring for seniors, I always have learning opportunities! It's meaningful and fulfilling work and I really put my heart into it! In my spare time, I'm a single mom of a toddler and I'm always busy with her! I do not have much time for personal hobbies anymore, but I am interested in learning to sew and garden.
