About Marsha

My mother moved in with us in 2002, and I cared for her through her peaceful passing at home in 2016. I stopped working as a Graphic Artist and went back to college to study Nutrition. I used my Nutrition Degrees in my care for my mother. I tutored children part time during that experience until the end when she needed more care. I would like companion/caregiving opportunities. I took her to Dr. appts., the Senior Center to Discussion Groups and Poetry Classes. I took her grocery shopping and cooked and cleaned for her. At the end we had Hospice Help come in a few hours a week. I really enjoy cake taking, it is extremely fulfilling and satisfying work. I sang in a choral group that performed at Senior Centers. They are the most grateful people! While my experience was not traditional paid work, my mother contributed financially to our household. Thank you for considering me for this opportunity.
