About Marissa

My grandparents had a huge role in raising me which allowed us to develop the most special bond. As I grew older so did they. I moved back in with them as a teenager to take care of them. I have so much compassion and empathy towards the elderly. I believe your later years should be filled with nothing but peace and relaxation and it is our duty as the younger citizens to help them achieve this. I strive to achieve that for them every day. My experience working as a PCA for many years developed the hard skills of assisting with things like bathing, administering medication, and support with mental and motor functions. Weather it is running errands, cleaning, cooking, or just being a shoulder to lean on and a best friend to gossip with. I strive to make them the happiest and most comfortable they could be. It's the least we can do for the people who shaped our communities and families all these years.
