About Mari

My mother lived with my husband and I in our in-law apartment for 6 years. She had Alzheimer's, and passed in 2010. It is a horrible disease and requires a great deal of compassion, patience, and understanding. I love to help people and I have the skills required to care for them. 2019 Previously I worked for a company out of Marion I cared for many clients as needed. Bathing, meal preparation, medicines reminders, keep active support walking, leg exercises as appropriate, exercises as outlined from PT. I have cared for 2 families that will provide references. They were not through Care. com. 2023 cared for Wife and husband. Wife had Lewy Body Dementia. We danced to her favorite music, read books, sat together and held hands. After her passing in July I cared for her husband, his health declined and passed in August. They were a wonderful couple. I am fortunate to have given them the care, love and support they deserved.
