About Maria

Hi! I am a college student majoring in occupational therapy looking for a fulfilling summer job. I have a bachelor's degree in health science and basic training in self care tasks, functional transfers, and use of adaptive equipment, although I have no certifications. I took care of my grandfather with dementia and my grandmother with visual deficits for about 4 months. During that time I helped with cooking, cleaning, toileting, and self care routines. I have a passion for working with the elderly population and have been commended for my patience with people with dementia by a previous fieldwork supervisor.
