About Mariana

In 2021 I began working at a small private senior home in Elgin. Having been there for about two years I focused on non clinical care such as changing, showering, feeding and light housekeeping for the patient. In 2022 I started working at St. Alexius Hospital as a CNA where I worked with patients in the orthopedic floor. I learned skills such as vital monitoring, safe transferring, and proper body mechanics for the patient. June of 2023 I decided on take on a CNA/PCT role at Northwest Community Hospital in June. Here I work with older patients from all sorts of backgrounds that come to hospital for orthopedic surgery as well. I've worked on different floors on this hospital which has required me to wear many hats as a patient care technician. I am passionate about giving care to in those in need however the elderly have a special place in my heart which is why I am looking to focus on senior care and help your loved one stay comfortable and happy throughout all stages of life.
