About Maria

I am more a companion than a caregiver. I enjoy bringing joy and happiness to our elders. I've had the honor of caring for my parents. . I was a companion to my grade school principal. I took her for drives, out to lunch, to the park etc. we had fun together. She suffered with dementia. I then cared for a gentleman, I stayed with him to give his daughter a break. I did activities with him, watched tv with him and made him lunch. He too suffered with dementia. I then was a companion to an elderly coworker, I took her grocery shopping, out to lunch and dinner, to the park and just kept her company. I am retired and enjoy traveling mostly weekend trips. I am flexible with time and days!
