About Maria

I'm a young caretaker with a big heart and a strong passion for what I do. In the several years working as a licensed CNA and Medication Technician I have gained a broad range of knowledge, experience, and skill. I have worked in both in-home as well as living facility settings. I am well equipped in understanding and caring for varying degrees of cognitive impairments and physical limitation, as I am currently employed as a dementia unit resident aid. I pride myself in providing exceptional care in combination with companionship. My present goal is to pursue my RN as a geriatric nurse and later to study gerontology, as I am certain I have found my calling. You can train someone to do a job, but you can't teach passion.
