I began working as a Certified Home Health Care/Companionship and CNA, through the Red Cross of Massachusetts. I started taking care of my aunt who had dementia and later on Alzheimer, from there I began to work as a private care for families who needed a loving and caring person to take care of their love ones and I was that person for them for the last 10 yrs. I have had great rapport with my clients and their families. I have also worked with Hospice Care clients, and have knowledge of medication distribution and PT assistant. I have had First Aid and CPR training and I'm patient and understanding and I don't have any problems with cats nor dogs. My name is Margaret and originally from Boston, MA. I moved to Port Saint Lucie in October 2019 and now I'm residing in Leesburg FL. I left a group of great clients and I am hoping to find the same here. I hired Maggie recently to look after my 88 year old mother during a transition between rehab and assisted living. And I highly recommend her. She was punctual, reliable, pleasant, so easy to communicate with and importantly very equipped to deal with my mother who has dementia. Maggie was so patient with my mother and understanding of her condition and handled my mother's very difficult personality with the utmost professionalism. I felt confident that my mother was being looked after properly. For my mother's move, Maggie helped coordinate all the packing in my absence. She was on top of all the details and even suggested things I had forgotten. She was an absolute star and team player! I recommend her 100%!
