About Margaret

To serve as a companion to a person who needs assistance in their home, enabling that person to stay in familiar surroundings and able to engage a with their family and friends. I am committed to caring for people who are not able to provide for themselves. I enjoy taking the person that I am caring for on outings, shopping or anything they enjoy doing. I'm a good companion. Not everyone is ready for nursing care in a facility. Often, the best place is in a familiar setting, a person's home where they are surrounded by family and friends. I like to connect to the person I care for as well as his or her family. I try to achieve a family atmosphere. I am available to stay overnight, cook, and work on crafts. I take instruction well and am able to connect to the person I am working with. I can stay for 24 hour cycles, and prefer a two or four day routine. I have found that this works better for the person as he or she adjusts to a stable routine. Thank you for the opportunity.
