Hi... I am 51 years old and live in Elkhorn. I am the mother to 3 children, ages 24, 21 & 17. Over the past 5 years I was a caretaker for an elderly man with the early stages of dementia. I spent 3-4 hours a day with him, giving his wife a chance to leave their home. Eventually, he was put into a care facility, as his symptoms had progressed. I also was a caretaker for another gentleman with advanced Alzheimer's. I spent a few hours a day, a couple days a week, keeping him company and allowing his wife to be able to work from home. I currently am doing light cleaning, cooking and errands for an elderly couple a few hours a week and am looking to add some more work hours to my week.
