I have been in the health care field for the past 20yrs & love what I do. I have experience with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Hospice & much more. I'm a believer in treating the mind, body & soul which includes staying active & keeping the mind stimulated. I feel that continuity of care is important so I make sure to be there for every shift scheduled. If needed I have extensive knowledge in training to provide proper body mechanics, safety in home & working as a team to stay proactive with care which includes working with the physicians, care providers & family to create a wellness plan that helps your loved one receive the best care possible and have a good quality of life. After 20 years in the field I also know what to look for when it comes to signs of UTI, proper ways to handle incontinence, BM issues, dehydration & so on. The most important thing is that your loved one feels safe & comfortable. I do have references if needed as well.
