Caring, compassionate and seasoned caregiver with 21 years of professional experience. Understands the needs and appreciates the challenges that arise from working with older adults, who were either mentally or physically incapacitated. Has proven to be a true companion through responsible actions and the development of personal relationships. Throughout my experience I have cared for 7 individuals of varying physical mobility and cognitive abilities. Ensuring the safety and well-being of my clients is my first priority, while I am also focused on maintaining quality of life under my care and the preservation of dignity. I strive to bring a positive outlook and to instill an the same in my clients. I encourage them to be independent, while establishing a stable routine and looking for ways to incorporate fun/play into their day. In this way, I build genuine relationships both with my clients, as well as with their families.
