I have worked a couple jobs although in the past as a caregiver at a nursing home and also an assisted living environment. Besides that, I also have provided care for a couple family members. One most recently being my grandmother. She was in heart failure. Also copd. I had her live in my home and cared for her. For over a year. Started out just assisting with a few things to make her life easier to after 8 mos being on end of life care. That Included, bathing, changing diapers, getting dressed. Helping walk with walker which eventually went to a wheelchair. Feeding all meals and giving meds that at first she could take and once she couldn't swallow I was administering with a syringe at first 3 times a day to every couple hrs until the end. She did have hospice nurses who would come 3 days a wk and they always said how well I did with her care. Not allowing bed sores and such. Although she was my grandmother I will treat your family members as one of my own. I am very patient & caring
