About Laurie

I'd describe my personality as kind, empathetic and attentive. I like caring for seniors because I've cared for my Mother and Grandmother and continue care through the end of their life. It meant a lot to me to be there for them and to learn about their life. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding and meaningful. I love connecting with others and developing lasting friendships. I started caring for seniors in 2001 when my Grandmother needed extra care during her illness. In my spare time, I like to backpack, run and most importantly, spend time with my children. One thing you should know about me is I love being organized and clean. It feels good for me and for others when our surroundings feel tidy. My skills include bathing, breathing exercises, senior fitness.
