About Laurel

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, fun-loving, and creative. I like caring for seniors because they deserve it! I respect where they are in life and where they've been. I'm looking for a job that gives me a sense of purpose, utilizing my skills, talents, and sense humor, of course! :-) I started caring for seniors when my parents and in-laws needed help. I have learned so much about caregiving in the past 8 years, gaining valuable skills and growing as a person. In my spare time, I like to sing, dance, do yoga, hike/walk, watch movies, and spend time with family (which includes my beloved pooch!) One thing you should know about me is that I have a deep sense of integrity and strive for it in all of my interactions and relationships. My skills include companionship, meal prep, housekeeping, organizing, and running errands (which I actually enjoy). I am also a singer/musician, so there's an opportunity to bring music in as therapy and/or for enjoyment if desired.
