About Laura

My passion for the medical field and caregiving began in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. I pursued that interest and ended up going to school as a medical major. In college, I cared for a stroke victim with hemiparesis and I have most experience with osteoporosis and arthritis, Alzheimer's and post-polio patients. I have my minor in Psychology and have also done fieldwork with research in Schizophrenic patients. My goal is always ensuring my clients' safety and comfort. Most of all, I love getting to know individuals and letting them share their life experiences with me. I truly am a people person and especially love listening to my elderly patients.
