I am passionate about caring for the elderly and creating space for them to feel valued and respected. After working as a caregiver, CNA, and then Dialysis Care Specialist in my early twenties, I decided to return to school to get further training in working with the elderly. In the Fall of 2023 I will begin my Master's in Gerontology with independent study in dementia care. My hope is that I can work with the elderly alongside pursuing my graduate degree. Although I am not currently certified as a CNA, I have multiple years experience, and am BLS/CPR certified. Also in process of completing EssentiALZ dementia training certification. My ideal job would involve caring for someone that becomes like family to me! I have three small children and a husband who would also love to play scrabble or go on a walk with a grandma or grandpa to brighten their day!
