About Laraine

Hello, My name is Laraine and my passion has always been serving others in meaningful ways. I became a CNA in my senior year of high school and worked private duty and registry jobs for 2 yrs. I went on to become a medical assistant, trained on the job, in a cardiologists office. With more experience, I had the opportunity to become Coordinator of two Ambulatory Surgical Centers, specializing in podiatry and chronic pain management. 12 yrs ago I took a personal inventory and realized I had become a workaholic and that I missed the one-on-one contact with patients. This is when and why I returned to private caregiving. I delight in encouraging and assisting others to maintain their identity, health and independence. I have 12+ yrs experience with ADLs, medicine reminders, transport to/from appts, fun outings, light meals, housekeeping and pet care. My other interests include organizing, decorating, gardening and jewelry making.
