About Lara

I have worked with special needs children and adults for over 18years, in addition to raising two daughters successfully. I am and energetic, positive person with a passion for caring and understanding a wide range of often marginalized groups of individuals. I strongly believe that we all deserve love, respect, dignity and support from day one to the last days of our lives. I have found that it is truly a gift and my purpose as a human to help others who sometimes cannot help themselves. I am comfortable and confident in my ability to communicate with anyone, no matter their circumstances, language, or verbal abilities. I instinctively recognize one's needs as I am accustomed to reading behaviors of nonverbal students. At the moment I prefer elderly care, as it currently is a better pace for me. I have experienced my own parents passing, one with severe dementia, the other with serious health conditions, and medications. Thank you for your consideration in my caring for your loved one
