About Lara

Dedicated, compassionate and experienced, I create a warm and nurturing environment for each and every family. My personal experience nursing my brother during his protracted battle with cancer, and subsequent hospice care, has made me incredibly attuned to family needs during such a sensitive time. After his death, I devoted myself to the care of cancer victims and have been passionately involved as a volunteer for the American Cancer Society for the past 20 years. I have also worked as a volunteer for the Suicide Prevention non-profits in Southern California. I have also regularly served as primary caregiver for elderly family members, and friends, often on a live-in basis. Medical experience includes: extensive experience with cancer, dementia, Alzheimer's & cardiac conditions. Chef skills: extensive culinary, and catering, experience with wide variety of cuisines, clients and functions. Outstanding references available!
