Over 20 years in the home care business with experience ranging from dementia care to Parkinson's and most everything in between. I am trustworthy, sensitive, reliable, and believe that this work is perhaps the most important that one can engage in. To care for our elder population is more than a job - it has to come from the heart and is built on compassion, trust understanding, patience and kindness. One either has those attributes or they don't. I do best with the 80+ crowd and am able to offer companionship, light assisted ambulation, cleaning, cooking, personal care (showering, brief changes), medication management, basic pet and plant care, driving to appointments, grocery shopping assist.
