"I was always meant to be a caregiver"... I love taking care of people. It started at young age; from helping my mom take care of my sister who has cerebral palsy. Helping with her everyday needs of feeding mostly. To later helping with her morning and bedtime routines. As a teenager my summers consisted of having full time babysitting jobs. Then as a young adult going to school and getting my certification for being a Certified Nursing Assistant. I worked in the nursing home setting for years. And later loved the more hands on approach of home care. I absolutely love being a caregiver. I'm very compassionate, dependable, punctual. Dedicated to the work I do. We hired Kristie to care for my 99 year old mother. She cared for her during the last three months of her life. You could not find a more competent, dependable and compassionate CNA. When she was here and took care of mother's personal needs and medications, I was able to completely relax from the daily stresses. She took it upon herself to help with laundry and dishes at night while I got a good nights sleep. She helped coordinate the schedule for our other CNA'S and kept in touch with our hospice nurse without our asking. She guided us through this end of life journey with grace and wisdom. My mother loved her and she became part of our family. We not only highly recommend her, we miss her presence.
