About Kristen

By practice I am an occupational therapy assistant. Over the last 10 years I have worked in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living and independent living settings caring for the senior population. My job has been to care for the elderly while also educating this population on being safe throughout their daily tasks, conserving their energy, modifying their homes for safety reasons, preventing falls and much more. I am passionate about assisting the elderly in maintaining proper self care, good safety and proper wellness throughout the golden years. I have experience with an array of neurological disorders, cognitive disorders, orthopedic and musculoskeletal issues. I am especially well versed in dementia / Alzheimer's care having also spent time on multiple memory care units. My wish is to bring joy and proper care to each client of mine!
