About Kim

I have over 9 years of experience working at Magnolia community services with special needs individuals (with both physical and mental disabilities). My class was mainly compromised of the older population. The focus of the class was helping and assisting each individual with daily needs of life. I have also worked for several PCA companies working with clients ranging from 12 to 70 years of age. My last client was wheelchair bound who needed assistant with all physical needs (e. g. tube feeding, bathing, changing, ambulating from the bed to her wheelchair and back). I am CPR certified, as well as having a Basic EMT certification. I worked for the 911 EMS system for a little over 3 years. For the last 4 years, I have worked with individuals who have suffered with some form of dementia or mobility issues. Some of my daily duties included transportation, doctors appointments, grocery shopping, running errands, companionship.
